Changes to the API that alter what a route returns. Newest first.
Routes affected:
/v1/fundamentals/capex/{filerId}/series/quarterly and /v1/fundamentals/capex/{filerId}/series/annual/v1/fundamentals/revenue/{filerId}/series/quarterly and /v1/fundamentals/revenue/{filerId}/series/annual, for the new omission reasons onlyCapex definition. Some filers label one cash flow line as their capital expenditures. For those filers, capex is that line alone. For every other filer, capex is cash paid for property, plant, and equipment. It adds equipment the filer buys to rent to others, and capital projects in development. Nuclear fuel is excluded.
Values change for some filers. For example, Deere's fiscal 2025 capex now includes equipment on operating leases. It is $4.23 billion, where it was $1.36 billion.
New quality code net-of-proceeds. The filer's only line is net of proceeds from disposals. The value can therefore be lower than gross purchases. We did not serve these filers before.
New omission reasons in omitted.
quarters-do-not-sum — the quarters do not fit the fiscal year. Every quarter of that year is omitted, and the year is served.suppressed, with a suppressedBecause code — the filer ended its line on purpose.term-missing — the metric is a sum of the filer's lines, and one line has no fact for the period. We never read an absent line as zero.Response shape. The shape is unchanged apart from these codes and the new suppressedBecause field. There is no version change.
